Worship Schedule

We are back on our school year schedule with Sunday services at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Compline and Canterbury Club will resume on September 2nd. Rector's Forum and Family Formation will start on a later date to be announced.

Sunday Schedule

8:00 AM: Holy Eucharist Rite I

This service is quiet and contemplative, with a brief sermon. The service is based on the earliest forms of the Communion service in the first English Prayer Book of 1549.

9:00 AM: Rector’s Forum

Join us for coffee and refreshments in Dallas Hall, the main fellowship room. The Forums feature a variety of topics, discussions and presentations.

10:00 AM: Holy Eucharist Rite II

Our second and more contemporary service of Holy Communion. The worship order follows a modern-English service from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. Hymns and organ music, along with a full sermon, are also part of this service, which incorporates a more elaborate and formal ceremonial style. Special occasions such as Baptisms are most frequently incorporated at 10:00 am.

Church School/ Family Formation usually meets during the 10:00 AM service. It ends in time for everyone to receive Communion.

The morning wraps up with coffee and more refreshments after this service.

6:00 PM (when UNH is in session): Compline

This brief service is one of the monastic prayer services, rich with the evening psalms and prayers of rest and refreshment. Music is occasionally part of this service.

Following Compline at 6:30 pm, everyone and especially UNH students are invited to a dinner and discussion during our Canterbury Club meeting.

Free parking is available in our lot for people attending services at St. George's.
