The lazy, hazy days of summer are upon us, along with delightfully warm weather and abundant sunshine.  I hope that everyone will enjoy a measure of rest and refreshment, and perhaps some well-deserved vacation.  In some churches the Sunday schedule is reduced during the summer months and for a while that was also the practice at St. George's.  But the number attending really doesn't change whether or not there is one service or two, and changing the service times always runs the risk of confusion and folks showing up for worship when worship is over with.  So -- we keep our schedule the same; 8 am Holy Communion, traditional and 10 am Holy Communion, contemporary, with sermon and hymns.  After worship there's Coffee and Conversation (iced tea and cold drinks). 

If you're in town, I hope that you'll join us at worship.  Who knows what new friends and new worship experiences you might encounter.
